A Challenge from Mrs F...

Hi everyone,

I’ve been creative with my latest kit that arrived on my doorstep last week.

I've been working with the new Echo Park - Life is good range of papers.

Wow, these papers in real life, are absolutely gorgeous; the teals, the browns and the pinks are beautiful.  You are going to have to whip in and visit the ladies at Scottie Crafts and add some of these to your stash.

As part of my kit i received some doilies which are plastic coated so they are perfect for use as stencils, they can also be coloured with inks or alcohol inks.

They are available in the shop, just ask one of the girls where to find them.

I’ve used a doily as a stencil and dabbed distressing ink over it [bottom right hand side] and then I’ve used the doily as part of my layering, with the ink still showing on the top.

I’m a big fan of recycling Prima packaging on my layouts and have used the packaging as another layer on my layout.  A little distressing, throw in some embellishments and there you have it.

Now ladies ... I have a challenge for you; and for me it was a big challenge!

I’m normally the one behind the camera and far prefer it that way.  But my challenge to you ... is to take a photo of yourself today, tomorrow, this week , sometime soon and scrap it ... scrap it, just for you.

Go on ... I dare you too!!!

Happy creating.    Michelle [aka Mrs Frizz]

  1. Gorgeous layout Mrs F and it's a great challenge as well, it's way too easy to always hide behind the camera and not be in the photo's.

I'm going to create for your challenge and maybe Sarah will join in as well???
    Nudge, nudge Sarah....lol
