A little creativity From Michelle

The gorgeous colours of my kit this month featured pinks, teals and browns ... yummo colours.  Truly beautiful in real life, honest.

When I first saw this range on line, I envisaged scrapping pics of younger children and I’m not saying that you can’t do that – but wowser, was I wrong.  This range of papers really should be added to your stash.  So far I’ve scrapped me ... mid forties, and now my niece in the under 20 age group ... and plan on scrapping a pic of the younger age group as well.

I know that I am sounding like I am repeating myself, but these papers have surprised me big time.  I suggest you head in and see the girls at the shop and add a few to your stash before they disappear.

In this layout featuring my niece Trekessa, I’ve thrown in a little distressing ink. I have water brushed the edges of the paper to create the curling effect [if you don’t have a water brush, use a fine paint brush dipped in water, run the paint brush down the edge and lift and curl with your thumb and finger – when it dries it retains the shape and curl], add a little distressing ink, mix in a little layering and I was done.  I did keep some of my edges ink free, just for a change and I’ve also added a little ribbon and a few flowers.

And value for money ... the alpha stickers in this range ... alphas that I will keep grabbing – they have a set in each of the colours, pink, teal and brown and sticker edges included in a 12x12 sheet.

Happy creating everyone.  Mrs Frizz

  1. Wow Michelle this is totally amazing! - You really are the queen of distressing! I'm going to have to get out my water brush now and have a go at those wonderful curled edges.
