NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS for SCOTTIE CRAFTS!!!

Well we have a big announcement today.  We have three new design team members joining Michelle, Sarah, Sue, Wendy and Beverley. Welcome to Annelie Maddock, Lianne Gray and Kim Fifield to the Scottie Crafts Design Team.  We are so pleased to have you wonderfully talented ladies on board and look forward to inspiring us with your gorgeous creations!

Meet the new ladies - we will show you some of their creations over the next few days:

Annelie Maddock

My name is Annelie Maddock, and I live on the Hibiscus Coast north of Auckland with my husband Kelly and our daughters Tova (4 ½) and Elsa (2). I’m originally from Sweden, but came here in 2003 and fell in love (both with the country and the gorgeous man who’s now my hubby!).

I found scrapbooking in 2006 while pregnant with Tova, and I was addicted instantly. I just love the way you can preserve memories, and make it beautiful and interesting at the same time! I love looking at and smelling new products (nutty I know!), and I love to get new photos that I can work with! I simply LOVE this hobby, and I HAVE to create something everyday to stay happy! Scrapbooking is very important for me to keep sane... It gives me time for ME, and that's what's keeping me alive some days! It's a big part in my mental healing too, from being sick with cancer earlier in my life. Also, the friendship I have found in this hobby, IRL and online, is totally amazing.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be on several design teams both in NZ and overseas during the last few years, and I was part of the Up2Scrap Elite team in 2010. I have also been published in Up2Scrap and Innovations Magazine previously, I’ve had LO’s featured in the Basic Grey gallery, I have been featured on many overseas blogs and galleries, and have been a guest designer for a few overseas shops.

I am currently on the design team for the American chipboard manufacturer “Magistical Memories”, the Canadian paper manufacturer “Kiki Art”, and the Swedish kit-club “Molly’s Scrapbooking”. I am part of the DT on the Swedish online magazine called “Allt om Scrap”.

When I don’t hang out with my family or scrap, I love to capture my surroundings with my camera, or to play music. I was a rock star in my previous life, and I try and play around with that when I’ve got some spare time.

I’m very excited to be part of the Scottie Craft family, and I hope you will find some inspiration in my creations!

Lianne Gray

Hi there! I'm Lianne and I live with my husband Rob at Port Waikato. My son James (21) is living with us at the moment while he decides what to do with himself after completing 4 years at Uni. And my daughter Emma (19) is a qualified hairdresser.
I have loved crafts for as long as I can remember and always dabbled in something. I've been scrapbooking and working/designing in the industry for about 9 years now and still love it to pieces. I've extended my interests to other papercrafts including Mixed Media and lately been doing alot of sewing and about to start crocheting my first blanket. I want to also do an Art Quilt. I always love new products, who doesn't! and am excited at the thought of what I can do with them.
I'm really happy to become part of this great shop. Have you been there yet? If not you must go, it is so cute and has heaps of really cool and up to date products.

Kim Fifield

My name is Kim and I have an addiction to pretty papers and shiny beads! I currently live in Australia with my family but my home is New Zealand and I am hoping to be back by the end of this year.

I am a graphic designer and have my own business; Fat Fergus Designs. As well as scrapbooking I also do painting, bone carving and make jewellery. I am at my happiest when I am immersed in an art project –  immersed is a very accurate term as I am by no means a tidy artist – the more product I have around me the better! For scrapping I like to cut out elements from printed paper or stamps, and use mica powders, paint. My pages generally have a lot of elements in them and I will only get one page done in a whole day if I am lucky – I am no power scrapper that’s for sure! I have been fortunate enough to have layouts published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooking Memories and Scrapbook Creations.

I am really looking forward to being on a design team again and being inspired by a talented team to get involved in scrapping again and hopefully to inspire other scrappers to learn some more techniques.
