Welcome to our first Guest Designer

To continue our Prima showcase we have our first guest designer who received the Sparkling Spring Collection from Prima.  Please welcome Megan Gourley to Scottie Crafts.

Hi!  My name is Megan Gourlay and I live in Woodend just outside of Christchurch, with my husband of 8 years, Forbes and our two fur babies Dougal & McKenzie.

I started making cards back in 2001 and was never going to even start scrapbooking!  I started doing OTP and they are still a firm favourite of mine, before I ventured into layouts about three years ago.

I have been teaching at The Stamping Ground until it closed last year, and are currently on the DT at Artistic Document, an online forum based in Australia.

I'm addicted to all things Prima and Tim! and flowers can't forget about the flowers!!  I tend to like things heritage but enjoy a challenge so I'll give anything a go once!

I also work full time as a nurse in a surgical ward, so spare time is quite precious!  I love a good book and I'm a bit of a royalty nut.

Here are some off the stunning projects Megan created with her inspiration kit.  With Inspiration kits our designers add products from their own collections.

A beautiful page which also shows that you can use the packaging from Prima.

With this sweet layout Megan shows how you can cut out your photo as a silhouette to add more interest to the page.  The butterflies are cut out from the paper and the little chipboard houses are from Collections which Megan added to the kit.

The final layout for today is just gorgeous and look at that amazing fussy cutting! Megan uses a fiskars finger knife to do the fussy cutting.  This layout also shows you how versatile this range is and can easily be used for heritage layouts.

Please come visit Scottie Crafts blog Later in the week to see some more gorgeous projects by Megan.  Thanks so much Megan for taking the time to create for us.
