Christmas Cracker - Michelle Frisby

A Christmas cracker - made with the gorgeous papers from Bo Bunny, add a
little white muslin, a few pearls, a little seam binding, pop a flourish and
holly die through your Cuttlebug, add a tag from the Bo Bunny collection and
voila - you're done.

And in this Christmas cracker is a piece of jewellery wrapped in muslin,
tied with a little seam binding with a Christmas bauble glued to it.
It doesn't get much easier than that.

Almost to pretty to open.

Merry Christmas to all our crafting friends from the team at Scottie Crafts.

Mini Christmas Pizza Box by Michelle Frisby

Now it's no secret that I love the festive season, although for some reason
I seem to be running a little late this year.

But in the craziness that seems to be part of the build up to Christmas, one
seems to find last minute gifts to wrap for that someone special for
Christmas.

And if you are one of those people, how about a mini pizza box whipped up
using the gorgeous papers in the Bo Bunny collection - make a sleeve to
slide around your wee treasure box and embellish.

I've used two Cherry Lyn dies, one to make the flourish and the other the
holly.

Quick and painless and talk about easy peasy.

Pop in and see the girls at Scottie Crafts and they will be able to point
you in the right direction.

Merry Christmas.
Michelle

My Countdown to Christmas by Beverley (part one)

In my design team kit I recieved a Melissa Frances Album kit (sold out sorry) and some extra goodies to go with it. With the design team kit and a lot of goodies from my scrapbooking products I decided to create a countdown to Christmas for 2012 as have been to busy to start one this December!

Here is my cover that I did using a Melissa Frances frame and a Tim Holtz Reindeer, numbers, lace and baubles and Prima flowers and bling.

Here are the first half of my pages:

More Tim Holtz numbers and metal charm, a Melissa Frances embellishment and tag with a Kaisercraft sticker.

Tim Holtz Tissue Tape and number,Cherry Lynne Holly flourish, Martha Stewart Holly Punch, Kaisercraft sticker, Prima flower. Similiar embellishing done on Page 6 and 7.

One of the pages in the Album was a Manilla envelope so it can be used for memorabilia.  embellishments used on this page were bakers twine, Kaisercraft Stickers and Melissa Frances tags.

Using the gorgeous holly Cheery Lynne die again.

Another feature page in the album was a pocket where more memorabilia can be placed.

Loved creating this album will show the rest of the pages soon.

Take care
Bev

Xmas inspired crafts using Studio Calico By Lianne

Using product from my Design Team kit, I made this cute 6x6 Xmas tree canvas inspired by Christy Tomlinson. I love to go against the grain and use non traditional colours for Xmas.

Background:
papers from Studio Calico, paint, stamps, rub ons and Studio Calico Mister Huey sprays.

Tree:
Studio Calico papers
Ribbon for truck

Flower:
From Scrapware painted with the Marvy Snow Marker and heated to puff up
Tim Holtz Idea-ology button

With more of the left over papers I made these giant wall rosettes when I saw the ones Jennifer McGuire made. She has instructions for them on her blog here.

Have fun with your Xmas crafting.

Lampost Christmas Album by Wendy

Wendy has created a stunning album for Christmas using the Melissa Frances 6 x 6 paper pad and an old book. Here is the front cover:

The lampost is cut out from the cricut and covered with glossy accents. The Angel stamp and the 25 are Kaisercraft stamps. The brick wall is a Prima mask and Wendy has used texture paste through it to create a very cool effect. The finishing touches are some gold embossed stamping, a prima vine, prima bling and lace and a bow made out of seam binding. Here is another view of the cover:

The first page uses a prima mask and a stamped transparency using White stazon ink.

The lampost is featured again on this page along with stamped images on card and transparency.

A Tag pocket and bows are features of this page.

Another tag pocket and a page for a photo or journalling.

A yummy tag pocket page and a few pages with lots of layered embellishments.

A photo or journalling page and a page with a Prima Brick wall mask.

And a beautiful page to finish with a spellbinder layered Poinsettia.

Thanks Wendy for another stunning creation to inspire us!

Santa stocking card by Michelle

Using the patterned papers from 6.5 x 6.5 pad from Kaisercraft – December 25th collection.

My base is Kraft cardstock.
I’ve layered a piece of patterned paper, inked around the edges.
I’ve punched out small bricks from Kraft cardstock and inked the edges to make a fireplace wall.
I’ve used two different distress crackle paints [rock candy and picket fence] and scattered diamond dust as well between and around the bricks.
I’ve then used the Christmas holly vine Cheery Lynn die on top of my bricks.
I’ve cut out two Christmas stockings using the Kaisercraft pad and across the top of each stocking I have cut two pieces of white pipe cleaner.
I’ve used foam pop dots underneath the stockings to give them a little height.
Tucked under a few wee Christmas baubles on the left hand stocking.
Kaisercraft alphas as my greeting.

There you have it.

Merry Christmas.
