We are thrilled to announce that Scottie Crafts will be supporting the Sanzi Craft Tools weekend 1^st and 2^nd September 2012
We have attended this eventin the past and we have always had great value on the day and also learned a tremendous amount from the Tutors.
Sanzi Imports has encouraged Retailers to support and publicize the event

So, to coincide with this event we have decided to launch Scotties Top Dog Club.

It should be a huge amount of fun, whilst at the same time being educational.

Beverley's Senz Class

Wow, SENZ was amazing and my classes went well. Students picked a colour for their canvas and they each got a kit with a canvas, a mask, a stamp, a colour wash, a mist and lots of embellishments. Here are my class samples:

Websters and Carta Bella Inspiration By Beverley

he following layout is one using the Everyday Poetry Collection from Websters with some Prima and Tim Holtz thrown in the mix! I have used a Sizzix Quilters die to cut out the circles and used both the circles and the cutout on the layout spreading a bit of gesso and mists on the layout.

Another layout I created was this one using Carta Bella's Beautiful Moments collection. This range's paper is very good quality not a thin paper like Echo Park similiar to Crate Paper. I love the rich colours.

Scottie Crafts at SENZ 2012!

Wendy's World - Couture Creations Doily Dies

This week Wendy will "wow" you again with the projects done with Couture Creations Doily Dies. You will want all of them so do not wait too long and make sure you will get them here.
Another useful tip when using these dies....make sure you use a piece of cardstock as a shim to pad up your sandwich of plates when using these dies. The extra thickness will make sure that each cut is crisp and clean.
The thickness of shim that you use may vary dependant upon the Cutting Machine that you are using and the card or paper from which you are cutting the image.
It is best to place waxed paper, shiny side down on the die to act as a release agent. Place the cardstock on the top of the wax paper. Simply tap the die to release the cut out image.
