RUSTIC CANVAS by Tasha

Hey there crafters :) this week I wanted to show you a
quick and easy rustic canvas I created using some of the products you can get at Scottie Crafts.

This project was so easy I just gathered all my supplies together and went to work.  I had this sentiment in mind.

The Tim Holtz Burlap Canvas was awesome and I could not wait to work with it.  I put some gesso on and then just played around with the Distress Paints.  I made rolled roses with the Leather Swatch.  I adhered the gorgeous lil' Prima flowers on as well as the Junkyard findings.

To finish I just coloured up some Thickers with the Distress Paints and adhered them onto the canvas.

Thanks guys....See you next week  :)

  1. Hello Tasha
WOW!!!!I love it and I love the sentiment, it is earthy and grounded. It does not need any more embellishments than what you have added, because the words steal the show... as it should. Great work.

    1. hey thanx sue.....I must say I struggled with this one how it was in my head didn't quite make it to the canvas but in the end I was happy how it came out and was glad I left it alone I can have a tendency to over embellish....who can blame us with all the yummy goodies :)
