Three Hearts and step by step by Sue Butler

Today's card is Clean and Simple and is easy to make for any beginner to accomplish.

To start my card I first made the Background.
White cardstock,  Stamp, White embossing Powder and Versamark watermark ink.

Stamp the pattern on the cardstock in Versamark ink and cover with the White Embossing Powder.

Use a heat gun to melt the Powder, (Tip:: Place the gun underneath the card to warm up the bottom, before returning to the front of the card to finish off.)
Keep moving the heat gun to avoid burning the powder.
You will know when it is ready as it shows up shiny.

Cut out the Hearts in different sizes. I have used a cricut but you can use a punch, or if you can draw cut them free-hand. You may have noticed that these templates are different to my card, it is because I forgot to take photos of the steps with my first one.

I used a White pen and a stamp with White ink to stamp onto the Red Heart, then I dry embossed.

It adds wonderful texture.

Ink up edges of Hearts with Distress pen.
It finishes them off and hides the White core.

Layer up the Hearts.

Choose a sentiment from the Do-crafts pack

Attach all the elements to your card.

I added some zig-zag stitching and a border in lace and chipboard.

Products used and all available from Scotties.

Hope I have inspired you to look at these papers for a Clean and Simple Card that is not too difficult to make.

Catch you next Monday.
Smiles:)
Sue
