Christmas Cracker - by Kimi

Welcome to day two of our blog hop where the Design Team are creating Christmas Crackers to inspire you! If you missed the previous post/s please go back to them.

Please come visit the blog everyday for the next week to see their gorgeous crackers. Make sure you read the whole post each day for instructions to hop to one DT blog each day. On the individual blogs there will be a secret word or words for you to note down.  Once the week is over you will have a secret sentence to post on our Facebook Page under a post that will happen on Friday the 8th of November. Please post the sentence by 10am on Monday the 11th November 2013 to be in a random draw  for a great set of wood mounted Memory Box Stamps.  We will also be announcing a competition at the end of the blog hop too.

Please note there might be a delay in the individual blog posts going up so if they are not there please check later in the day thanks!

Today Kimi showcases a gorgeous Rustic cracker

For my christmas cracker I have used some scraps and leftovers from Kaisercrafts Gingerbread Collection  and some chocolate brown cardstock.  I loved the rustic charm of the 3D star and decided to take the rustic route again.

I have used my electronic cutter to create the cracker base and then hand cut some strips to layer on the cracker segments. I have also created the same flower I used on the star to layer on top - creating a christmas-y cluster!!

I have added a sentiment from the Kaisercraft collectables.

and some christmas coloured seam binding bows...

I hope I have inspired you to give our crackers a go!!

Come play with us and hop over to my blog to see  what my secret word  is for the contest
