Pocket Scrapbooking inspiration

Today I want to show you some awesome little ideas to get you inspired with your Pocket Scrapbooking.
These pages were created by Emma, who was documenting Frank's little holiday at K9 Heaven, using the photos that they put up on Facebook each day.

Firstly I'll show you the 2 pages, using pockets and cards from Scottie Crafts and then below, I will highlight  some of the different techniques she has used.

Techniques: Mix different alphas including stamps or rub-ons
Staple on sequins, ribbons, or other embellishments  (Tim Holtz Tiny Stapler is perfect for this!)
Break up a plain card with lines of ribbon, washi tape or stamps.

Techniques: Put journaling down the side of the photo
                 Pen doodle around a photo
Make a mixed embellishment of a button, an eyelet and a brad  in the same colour or co-ordinating mix of colours

Techniques: Mixed alphabet journaling
Using flat wooden embellishments ( a lovely range available at Scotties)
Add Enamel Dots or crystals, as a quick embellishment, to empty areas

Techniques: Convert some photos to black and white to add interest
Use the staples as an embellishment on their own (top left corner)
                 Journal around a photo

Techniques: Print out or cut some photos much smaller. Having a variety of sizes adds interest.
Repeat a pattern and embellishments to bring a page together. Emma has used stapled sequins   and chevron arrows, in several pockets

I hope you have lots of ideas here to get underway with your Pocket Scrapbooking diary!

Cheers,
 Sue :)
