Hi everyone, Kimi here. Today I wanted to share with you all my "Sweet" little banner and cupcake gift box. These gorgeous papers from Kaisercrafts Tea Party Collection certainly put you in the party mood. The banner could be used for a little girls party or just a super cute room decoration.
To make this I have just used some of my scallop edged scissors to cut all the White card stock bases. I have inked these edges in some cotton candy pink ink from my stash. I then layered them up with the following papers with the 12x12 sheets that came in my kit.
I created the rosettes from some pink cardstock. I cut strips 3/4" wide by 12" long and then scored them at every 1/4".
I then did the same thing to some White Cardstock.
Once I had scored all my strips I glued the ends together and began to make all my rosettes
Whilst I waited for my glue to dry I punched out some 1" circles and using the alpha stickers from the sticker sheet I spelled out the word sweet.
I then adhered these to my rosettes with my hot glue gun.
Using some contrasting ribbons from my stash I strung my banner pieces together.
.....Sooooooo I added some seam binding bows, a Spellbinders Doily and some Prima Mini Sachet Roses. Kinda like a cherry on top!!
What little girl wouldn't love a cupcake gift box? Sooooo scrumptious!!
Well everybody I hope you have enjoyed my projects for this week!! I had great fun making them.
Have wonderful weekend and I will see you all next week
Hello Kimi
ReplyDeleteFabulous Banner, gosh you made it hard on yourself making those Rosettes, obviously you haven't got the TH Rosette die....(hint hint Bev), me neither ha. I made a Christmas banner last year and I was pleased with the result as I am sure you are with this one. The Cup Cake Box is also a fabulous make; unique and special in my book.
Smiles:)
Sue
