Hello everyone, this week I am back to share with you all a couple of altered paper bags. These were such a quick and easy project to do and to top it off they make a great way to give a gift.
These little bags measure 4" wide x 7" long.
Once again I have only got pics of the finished bags. I have used up a lot of the leftovers from last weeks mini album and a few sheets from the Gingerbread 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" paper pad.
I have sealed the bag with some soft vintage red seam binding that I have threaded through two punched holes. I created a curved flap with my scallop edged scissors. I have tucked the flap behind one of the Collectables round tags.
Here is a close up of the tag. I added some Chrystalline Kindyglitz to the bells and then sealed it all with a good coat of glossy accents. I wanted to make it a little stronger and sturdier to hold the flap in place. I then added one of the tags from the tag sheet to the back of the bag.
I have decorated the Kraft coloured bag much the same way. I have added some ribbon and lace to the front. I layered up two tags from the collection. I added some more glitter and glossy accents before adhering it to the bag. Again, I have tucked the flap under the tags.
I made a simple dangling charm for each bag using some pearl beads and Christmas charms from my stash. I then attached each of these to a double sided gift tag and attached them to the bag with some bakers twine.
Well everybody, that is my project for this week. Thanks for stopping by.
Hello Kimi
ReplyDeleteFabulous, I am becoming enthusiastic about paper bags since you and Tash have produced wonderful results working with them. I will have to search for some here.
