Playing with Prima ...

Wow ... have you seen all the new Prima goodies in the shop ... I mean, have you really seen them?
They are way better in real life ladies, they truly are.
I was lucky enough to have a pizza box of goodies arrive on my doorstep and let's just say I spent a whole lot of time goo-ing and gaa-ing over the contents.

Some of the papers were just about labelled 'too good to cut up' ... permanently.
I think we have all been a little guilty at some stage of buying papers, adding them to our stash and then left them sitting there ... you know what I mean, waiting for those extra special photos or worse still ... saving said pretties for a special day.
Well it's time that I got over that ... but hey, I still had to sit and look before I could push myself to actually pick up a tool that would be responsible for cutting into said pretty papers. It was hard ladies, it was hard ... honest!

So, what have I used on this layout :

One of the brand spanking new Prima masks and a little Tim Holtz distress ink and really love the way it turned out [and yes, I can see a few more of these masks being added to my collection already].

I've recycled a little Prima packaging and then I've used a piece of Prima Madeline Beautima paper - now this is brilliant .... a 12x12 sheet has the equivalent of four 6x6 diecut shapes on it and they are all totally fabulous. The colours are simply divine.

I've grabbed my Martha Stewart doily lace edge punch. I've paper curled a couple of strips, added a couple of tags, a feather, a little bling and of course a few Prima flowers.

And wait for it ... ooh-la-la ... the 'flocked rub-ons' ... check out the butterfly. Oh wow, they are sensational. Actually they are bleedin' awesome and I've decided that I am allowed to say that!!!

Must admit though, had to look twice at how I was supposed to use them and I'm nothing but honest.

So there you have it.
Will share a little more creativity over the coming week.

If you get a chance, head into the shop. But ... if you are a little more geographically challenged - you can't beat shopping on-line from the comfort of your own home.

Have fun.
