Train With Sizzix quilting dies

For the carriages I created the box from a piece of black card cut at 7 1/2" by 8 1/2" and scored at 2 1/2" on all sides, then formed as above. I linked the carriages with 2 links of chain. Added pearls to the centre of the wheels.


The photos below show making the box for the carriages. You make the box for the engine the same way but the sides are lower so that it does not stand above the train engine

Glue together to form the box.

Think it would be really cute cut from Christmas DCWV paper and made into an advent calender by using the sizzix dies to cut 1-24 for the carriages and putting a little treat in each one

Prima Goodness in store

I haven't done a post for a while, but after two weekends of shows and workshops and the preparation, I came home itching to get into my new Prima supplies from Scotties which are flying out the door!

I have been taking photos of my daughter, Emma, and her growing baby bump. But, every time, it was so hard getting a pic without Frank (their present baby!) wanting to be part of the action. We finally put him in the garage!

So, I have done this layout for Frank!!

This morning during the Spellbinders Mini Album Class with Kim Hupke.

Everybody was concentrating and pleased to create their own Spellbinders Mini Album project.
