More 'Sweet Pea' By Sarah Groen

This is my second page using for Scottie Crafts using the beautiful Kaisercraft 'Sweet Pea' collection.

I saw the idea of a triangular background on the Studio Calico blog recently and thought that the small 6x6" paper pad that I got as part of the Sweet Pea collection would be perfect to give this technique a go. It really is quite simple and very effective. Simply cut 2x2" squares from a variety of papers. Cut the squares in half and arrange the triangles onto white cardstock in a patchwork style. I machine stitched the triangles in place but you could doodle faux stitching to get the same effect.
I matted my photo with patterned papers and tags, then I used a selection of embellishments from the 'collectables' to add interest to me page. Everything on this page (except the Prima flowers) is from the 'Sweet Pea' collection.

Hope you have time to visit the store and check out this gorgeous collection for yourself. It looks even better in 'real life'.
