Something completely different from me this week, I thought you may like to view a little bit of elegance, a card that would be very simple to make for the beginners in this craft.
First emboss one edge of some White card stock, and colour up with
Place a layer of complimentary Coredinations cardstock for a background.
Add some pretty elements, I have used Prima flowers and leaves, string bling and lace.
Stamp a sentiment and matt these layers onto your card.
And there you have it, a little bit of elegance and not much work involved.
Give it a try this week.

hi Sue, thats lovely, can I ask which embossing folder did you use?
ReplyDeleteThe embossed corner is a Marianne design, I am sure the girls at Scotties would order it in for you.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most elaborate and wonderful embossed design. I love the look of this cardcard so much. Beautiful work Sue!!

Elegant & gorgeous, Sue!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Sue. Elegance personified.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Is there a tutorial somewhere for doing the colouring - I'm not sure how you got the ink into the embossed portion and nowhere else!
ReplyDeleteHello Anonymous,
DeleteWhen you dry emboss a pattern, such as I have done, there are raised areas, if you use a small piece of foam or even a Q-tip to apply the distress ink over these areas lightly, you have the acquired result.
Hope you follow the explanation.
