Elegance by Sue Butler.

Hello friends,
Something completely different from me this week, I thought you may like to view a little bit of elegance, a card that would be very simple to make for the beginners in this craft.

First emboss one edge of some White card stock, and colour up with
Distress Inks.

The embossed corner is a Marianne design.

Place a layer of complimentary Coredinations cardstock for a background.

Add some pretty elements, I have used Prima flowers and leaves, string bling and lace.

Stamp a sentiment and matt these layers onto your card.

And there you have it, a little bit of elegance and not much work involved.
Give it a try this week.

Smiles:)
Sue

  5. Beautiful! Is there a tutorial somewhere for doing the colouring - I'm not sure how you got the ink into the embossed portion and nowhere else!

    1. Hello Anonymous,
When you dry emboss a pattern, such as I have done, there are raised areas, if you use a small piece of foam or even a Q-tip to apply the distress ink over these areas lightly, you have the acquired result.
      Hope you follow the explanation.
