Flower layout - Kristy S

Hi Everyone!

Here's a sneek peek at what I have been doing this week, can you guess what it was????

Well if you cant guess, I have been playing with the Sizzix Tattered Flower Garland die and the McGill Paper blossom kit.(on the left)
This is a fantastic tool set which makes manipulating the die pieces so easy, it comes with a good variety of sizes and also some awesome tweezers that really help to avoid hot glue burns! yay!

Here is a shot of some of the blooms that I made using the tools, and with the exception of the three white flowers on the right all of these flowers were made with the one sizzix die, talk about versatile!

So what did I do with all of these blooms you ask??? well I made a layout using my leftover Prima Optimist paper Bling, and a few things from my stash.

I was going to do a step by step but here is the first photo........

And here is the second....opps, I think I got a little carried away.

Anyway here are a few close ups for you.

The best thing I love about this layout was that I made every flower on the page except the red ones.

So I hope you give the die and tools go, I have linked them for you below so go take a look at Scotties website and get creative.

Have a great week

Kristy xx

  1. Hello Kristy,
Black and White with a Pop of the passionate Red is always a stunner of a palette, and this layout certainly ticks all the boxes where this is concerned, adding a beautiful picture is a bonus, I love hand made flowers, so you have nothing but positives from me regarding this page.
    Smiles:)
