I was so happy to get this Kaiser Craft Art of Life Collection. I just love this paper collection. It is basically shades of black and neutral tones and it lends itself to being inked in any colour to suit your decor or project. I chose to ink mine in Tim Holtz Distress Ink Aged mahogany.
Here is my finished piece. |
I cut the sheet into the printed pieces, then I used the Tim Holtz distressing tool to distress the edges of all the pieces and then inked all the edges with Distress ink Aged mahogany. |
Add captionI applied a thick coating of Glossy Accents and allowed it to dry. |
I used a spellbinders die to just emboss a frame on another piece of the paper. |
I also used the Stain to colour some white roses from my stash. |
Apply the buttons using 3 layers of foam tape. |
I made a easycast resin frame frame, painted black and added metalic rubons (small hint... don't leave your rubons in a hot car.) To complete my project I added bling and embelishments from my collection. I mounted the completed pieces to the black chip board and then applied it to a plain ablum cover. |

Thanks for following. Wendy
Hello Wendy,
ReplyDeleteLove this, it has such wonderful elements, I am really envious of the resin frame, I not tried this technique yet!
Wonderful Inspiration.
