One Die, and two very different cards by Sue Butler.

Hello Everyone,
Over the next four Mondays I will be presenting you my makes; which cover a wide genre of techniques on the Madeline die collection by Couture Creations.

If you are a follower of Wendy's World here at Scotties, you will have seen her Video on these new Diecuts and folders, I was lucky enough to play with them, yea (happy face), it was great but I had to hand them back, pooh (sad face.)
Anyway I had some fun and today I will show you two cards made from the 'Madeline' Lotus Filigree border die and the 'Endless' embossing folder.

Both backgrounds were painted with Distress paints, before die-cutting on the Big shot.
The top Heart is chip board that I have painted with a mix of distress paints and inks, some doodling and crackle effects.

Can you see cupid? He was altered with distress paints, and some Gold.

I dry embossed the second one and it creates a very different feel.
I could not cover up this background with embellishments, it would be criminal.
You will observe in the finished card that I did not use the turquoise 'brights' paper for the finished card.

Stamped a sentiment on tissue paper and applied multi-medium to adhere.
Mounted this onto a cream shimmer Mat stack paper.

Next week I will show you how I used the Doily Dies.
Here is a sneek peek...
You will find Wendy's Video Here.

Have a great week
Smiles:)
Sue
